Getting Started

What is HUQT Oracle?

HUQT Oracle is a comprehensive financial system designed for Harvard students, featuring prediction markets, tokenized assets, and seamless exchange services. It's part of the Harvard Financial Ecosystem that allows you to trade with QTC (our native token) and participate in the future of student finance.

How do I get started?

Simply create an account through The Vault authentication system. New users receive 5,000 QTC tokens to start trading immediately. You can begin by exploring our retail markets or diving into more advanced trading features.

What is QTC?

QTC is the native token of the HUQT ecosystem. It serves as the primary currency for all transactions, including trading in prediction markets, converting tokens, and participating in options. All new users start with 5,000 QTC to begin their trading journey.

What's the difference between casual and advanced trading?

Casual trading happens on the Retail page where you can view markets and their current pricing, then directly buy or sell with simple clicks. Advanced trading uses the Markets page, offering sophisticated features like limit orders, open order management, detailed fills history, and comprehensive market analytics for experienced traders.
